As a manufacturer dealing with petrochemicals, since our establishment in 1947, we have manufactured and sold over 2,000 types of products including industrial cleaning agents and chemicals, release agents, and thinners, providing them to more than 30,000 customers across various industries. In particular, we have developed a leading number of environmentally friendly products that contain almost no substances harmful to the human body or the environment, contributing to the improvement of our customers’ workplaces and operational costs.
Moreover, our company focuses not only on the manufacture and sale of organic solvents but also on the import and sale of petrochemical raw materials in recent years. We have built a supply system that can provide products stably and promptly even in the event of natural disasters such as earthquakes, tsunamis, and heavy snow.

BUSINESS AREAS
Sankyo Chemical has pursued technologies related to organic industrial chemicals, including the technology to “dissolve,” as well as “strip,” “wash,” and “dilute” materials for over 65 years. Based on these technologies, we operate various businesses, manufacturing and selling not only cleaning agents and release agents but also paint removers for civil engineering and construction, importing and selling industrial chemicals, and contracted development of organic solvents.
Manufacturing and Selling of
Industrial Cleaning Agents and Release Agents
We manufacture and sell over 500 types of industrial cleaning agents and release agents. They can easily clean and remove oil and resin contamination, which are prone to adhere to machinery, equipment, and tools used in automobile manufacturing plants, metal processing factories, paint and coating sites, etc.
Manufacturing and Selling of Paint Removers
for the Construction Industry
We manufacture and sell paint removers that moisten the coating film used at sites of interior and exterior construction works, steel construction, and bridge construction, ensuring that work can be done safely and smoothly without the dispersion of dust containing hazardous substances such as asbestos and lead.
Export and Import Sales of Industrial Chemicals
We procure over 300 types of industrial chemicals from various channels both domestically and internationally, selling high-quality chemicals at appropriate prices not only in Japan but also overseas.

In recent years, considering the adverse effects of substances such as toluene and acetone on the human body, laws and regulations related to organic solvents have been tightened not only in Japan but also overseas. As a result, many companies are forced to significantly change their internal production systems and the products they handle to maintain their conventional production activities.
Sankyo Chemical, in light of such social circumstances and customer challenges, has established factories and research centers to thoroughly engage in research, development, and quality control, providing products with the same level of functionality as traditional products but also with high safety.

Our company has established an R&D center and pursues a wide range of technical strengths day by day, including “dissolving,” “stripping,” “washing,” and “diluting” technologies. At the R&D center, we conduct research on environmental-friendly products and products that utilize biomass materials, as well as research into new products with high safety and functionality.

To prevent variations in the quality and functionality of our products, we have established an appropriate quality control system at three stages: “before production,” “during production,” and “after production.”
Before Production
We procure a large number of raw materials from various areas both domestically and internationally, and conduct strict quality inspections for each product at our factory.
During Production
To prevent contamination of different raw materials during production, we clean pipes and mixing vessels every time the materials change.
After Production
The quality of manufactured products is confirmed by specialized researchers, and only products that meet our strict standards are provided to customers.
